This QTVR opens looking north, exactly where the '73 lava flow covered half the town. When you spin around to the right (east), past Eldfel's garish, orange peak, you can see the eastern reach of the lava. When you turn south, you can see the other, more perfectly formed volcanic peak on Heimaey. Home Page
